Early Summer 2015

 

on 4th may the installation „Go West“ had ist opening at the Austrian Cultural Forum in Washington DC, which I have conceived together with Jutta Fischel and Konrad Stania.

 

Dr. Erika Freeman gave us the big honor to open the event with one of her legendary speeches full of whit and wisdom...

 

My french friends may forgive that due to the needs of my little son this time I cannot produce a french version of this newsletter.

 

I hope to meet you soon at one of the following events!

 

On 21st May „Nowhere man – a monkey theatre about the passion of people for virtual realities“, which had been conceived by the young and very promising artist Béla Bufe, who is member of my Music Theatre Ensemble „Schlüterwerke“, will have its opening night at Brick 5 in Vienna.

The other members of the ensemble will perform and act. Ingala Fortagne, Andrea Köhler, Katharina Weinhuber, Stephanie Schmiderer and Florian Hackspiel.

On 28th May my musical comedy „Venus on Broadway“ will have ist opening night at the Schönbrunner Schlosstheater, a wonderful venue full of tradition at the Habsburg Summer Castle in Vienna.

 

I wrote this play at the demand of Vienna’s National Acting School „Max Reinhardt Seminar“. It shows the rehearsal process of Kurt Weill’s Musical „One Touch of Venus“ that he had written in New York 1943 and became his biggest success on broadway.

We continue our presale initiative to finance our movie „Winter Journey – a forced march“ following our sucessful play, we keep showing since June 2013.

We succeeded to produce a DVD of our successful opera „Anfechtungen! San Ignacio – eine Dschungeloper“, which was shown in September 2014.

 

This DVD has English and German subtitles.
