A few glimpses of my artistic work on stage, film, lecture, and in rehearsal:
This music video was made by me for Hanne Pilgrim's song December.
On YouTube you'll find every conversation from my series WILD BUT HEART, in which I talk with remarkable people at Vienna's jazz club Porgy & Bess.
Since the pandemic, I have been making a series of poetic short films, most of them devoted to a single person and the poem they love most.
In 2007, my production Die verlassene Dido was awarded the Nestroy Prize. Here is my acceptance speech at the Theater an der Wien
Theatre lives in the moment, and no recording can fully replace it. Still, some videos offer a glimpse into my work as a director: the rehearsal room, the stage, and the ideas behind it all.
Selected lectures can also be watched on YouTube, here, for instance, on the enduring power of commedia dell'arte in today's theatre.
More productions, excerpts, behind-the-scenes material, and Short Movies, can be found on my YouTube channel.
